Job Overview:

XCAD Hospitality & Care Company is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Case Worker for a permanent position to provide ongoing support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The Case Worker will assess client needs, develop personalized care plans, and connect clients with community resources and support services, ensuring their well-being and long-term stability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client intake, assessments, and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support, counseling, and crisis intervention to clients.
  • Assist clients in accessing healthcare services, housing, employment, and community resources.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Advocate for clients to ensure their rights, dignity, and needs are respected.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and community agencies.
  • Educate clients and families on mental health management and available resources.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide crisis support when required.
  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, or related field.
  • Previous experience in mental health case management or social services (required).
  • Strong understanding of mental health conditions, treatments, and community resources.
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.

Education & Certification:

  • Degree or diploma in Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, or related discipline (required).
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred).
  • Registration with a professional association (asset).
